We choose only the best quality raw material (more than 15% of the legs are judged as not suitable for use in production) that is then processed with the utmost care, resulting in a product that truly merits its place on the table. It is only after months and months of attention and expert craftsmanship that our ham is judged worthy of the crown of excellence, the King’s branded mark that is a guarantee of its quality.
Classic products such as Veneto DOP, San Daniele DOP, Parma DOP and Val Liona (a traditional ham that takes its name from the valley of which Sossano is a part) are all created in this way, along with others that combine traditional pork butchery with innovative interpretations to satisfy the tastes of modern consumers. Amongst these there are Granspeck (the famous broad sliced speck), Snocciolato and Sbucciatello (“modern” hams with excellent slicing) and the precious culatello known as the Rebello as well as many more.
Their quality and the dedication that allows us to guarantee that every King's ham is perfect in every way, from its taste to its aroma and overall look, is a central theme of our hundred year history.
